End of Fashion week NYC. Send off Brazilian fashion show party @ Hudson Terrace

With the close of Winter Fashion Week we have to say the singularly the coats people were wearing in order to brave the cold were striking. Even the NYTimes blog discussed how they were sharp, but with minimal embellishments. One of the fun aspects of the Calvin Klein show was their take and throwback to the 20′s with dark and more flapperish designs. It could be that it was just the haircuts, but it felt more of a hybrid between a 20′s/ 80′s look. With our founder being heavily involved in fashion, cosmetics, and beauty, we thought it was interesting how he commented on how stellar the makeup artists were. One of our favorite artists Tom Pecheux was seen in maximum effect with his models, with his subtle taste in transforming the models to perfection with just the slightest touch here and there. We would love to hear what all of our friends and members thought!

If you did not get enough… we will be hosting our Winter Cocktail awards paty at Hudson Terrace, followed by a great Brazilian fashion show at 11pm. Feel free to come and experience the air with a glass of Moet at our area with great fare. The music will be pumping and we would love to see you all for a very fashion forward night. Not to be outdone we have had rave reviews of our new Saturday rooftop event at Sky Room. We have continued our events at Bryant Park, our rocker party at Rokk City, but they are hard pressed to go above what Sky Room is turning out to be. We would love to see you there and join us if you find yourself in the city.

Talking about events, some of our lucky members in Berlin came to our partnered events at the Berlin Film festival. We had a VIP after event with some of our partners at “Cookies” that went throughout the whole night. If you did not come please check our Twitter and Facebook feeds, as we sent our invited there! If you were in the festival we would love to see you back next year or in NYC!

Now before we go, make sure you mark down in your calendars’ Friday, February 24 for our Founders’ Pre – Birthday Bash at Hudson Terrace. Like last year, we will have a big gift and appreciation night leading up to our 1,000+ person costume party Saturday, March 3 at Capitale. We are selling tickets online starting Monday as well as in person. Instead of the full price of $35 we are providing tickets at cost for $20 so that we can all celebrate an elegant, fun filled costume party with over 1,000+ members.
